FAQs

1. What materials do you use for your jewellery?

YELLOW GOLD JEWELLERY:

Our yellow gold jewellery is made from 14K gold vermeil.

Gold vermeil is a premium type of gold-plated jewellery that features a thick layer of gold over a sterling silver base. To be classified as vermeil, the gold must be at least 2.5 microns thick and at least 10K in purity.

Our 14K gold vermeil pieces offer the perfect balance of elegance and durability, with a rich golden hue that lasts longer than standard gold-plated jewellery.

The thicker gold layer makes it more resistant to tarnishing and everyday wear compared to standard gold plating. Because it is crafted with a sterling silver base, it is also more durable and higher in quality than jewellery made with non-precious metals

Additionally, gold vermeil is hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin, making it a luxurious yet affordable choice.

Whether you're looking for timeless elegance or an affordable way to wear gold, vermeil is a perfect option.

WHITE GOLD JEWELLERY:

Our white gold plated jewellery is made from high-quality sterling silver and coated with rhodium, a precious metal known for its shiny, reflective finish. This rhodium plating gives the pieces a stunning white gold appearance, adding a touch of luxury to every design.

The rhodium coating also helps protect the sterling silver underneath, ensuring durability and a long-lasting shine. With proper care, our white gold plated jewellery retains its elegance and brilliance, offering the beauty of gold at a more accessible price.

2. How do I care for the jewellery?

To keep your jewellery looking its best, avoid contact with harsh chemicals such as lotions, and household cleaners, as these can cause the gold layer to wear down.

When not in use, store your jewellery in a soft pouch or a jewellery box to prevent scratches and tarnishing. To clean, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth or use a mild soap and water solution—avoid abrasive cleaners that can damage the gold finish.

If the gold layer begins to wear, re-plating is an option to restore its original lustre. With proper care, your gold vermeil jewellery will maintain its brilliance for years to come, allowing you to enjoy its timeless beauty every day.
